This page describes Noti database design and concepts, which (I hope) are quite simple.

Relationships:

• All news are stored in the main news table (each one of them is a ''Note'').
• Each ''Note'' belongs to a ''Category''
• Each ''Category'' belongs to a ''Site'' and to zero or more ''Areas''
• Each ''Area'' can have zero or more ''Categories'' attached to it
• A ''Subscription'' can be a ''Site'', an ''Area'' or a ''Category''
• A ''User'' has zero or more ''Subscriptions''
